Princeville Real Estate

Situated at the north shore of Kauai is Princeville. Princeville got its name during the 1860 visit of Prince Albert Kamehameha, son of King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma. The land was originally used to harvest coffee, and sugarcane. It was then sold in 1968 to be developed as a golf course and resort named as Princeville at Hanalei.

Currently, Princeville is home to several resorts, such as St. Regis Princeville. Formally known as the Princeville Hotel, St Regis Princeville is an iconic area that overlooks the amazing view of Hanalei Bay. Aside from resorts, there are also residential units at Princeville. For the residential Princeville Real Estate listings, the average price is around $985,000; for the Princeville Real Estate land offerings, the average price is around $325,500. As of the 2000 census, Princeville has a population of 1,698 people, which includes 752 households and 491 families. The population density is around 806.7 people per square mile, and there are around 1,640 housing units at an average density of 779.1 per square mile.
